Celebrating Beginnings

It is beyond the first week in May and Spring has finally come.   I love the smell of Spring.  So today I am celebrating beginnings through the scents of spring.

I am celebrating freshly cut grass.
Sweaty fifth graders after physical education.
The aroma of spring lilacs.
The freshness of the air after a thunderstorm.
The smell of wind whipping by on my morning walk.
Barbeques breaking out after a long winter lull.
The aroma of dirt being broken as I plant pansies.
The smell of enthusiasm for longer days and warmer weather.
The aroma of new love.
The smell of spring.

And my big family celebration—last Saturday, my daughter, Rachel, got married to the love of her life, Sam.  Another celebration after a long, cold winter. There was a heaviness and now it is light... Below is a link that capture the blessings of that celebration.
